Two Weeks of Swimming

Today was our last session with the team at Swimmagic and we have really enjoyed learning how to swim!

A lot of the hub were using the learner qualities and being determined to be the best swimmer they could be when in the pool.

Well done to all those learners who stretched themselves with swimming - you did an amazing job!

Swimming in the water

I did kicking with a board. I did some floating in the water and swimming to the end of the pool.
I lay on my back. I jumped and high-fived the teacher. I swam around the teacher and swam to the end.

Applying our Understandings about Seasons and Day and Night

We have been learning about the different seasons. We have been using the learner quality wonder lots and lots! Some of us are applying our understandings to show how we get day and night. Some of us are sharing our knowledge of how we experience summer, autumn, winter and spring.

Year 2 literacy

Welcome back learners!!! The teachers are very excited to have you back at school ready to rock and roll with your learning. Bring it on Term 2!

We had a great first day back. High levels of engagement all day but particularly after morning tea when the year 2's focused on literacy and the year 3's focused on maths. Keep up the fantastic effort hub 1.
